Siv-Lene Gangenes Skar

Siv-Lene was born into the horticulture family business, producing flowers and vegetables in greenhouses. Early in life, she started to grow perennials and vegetables outdoors for sale to the local market in Grimstad.

She holds a Cand. agric. degree from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and has built up an extensive network within her field of expertise. Before joining the Columbi Salmon team, Siv-Lene held a research position at the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO), division of Food Production and Society, department of Horticulture, building up a circular food production concept based on reusing nutritious water from fish farms.
